About Us
Our History
Art and Beverly Morrell purchased the Joseph Cashier Company in 1982 in Elmira Heights, NY, updating the company name to Southerntier Custom Fabricators (STCF). Starting off in a 10,000 sq. ft. building with 10 employees, STCF has become a premier source for sheet metal fabrication and air handling systems for the commercial and industrial market.
In 2002, the company transitioned to a larger facility, relocating to Elmira, NY, and focusing its services and products to continue to better meet customer demands. A second generation family business, Art and Beverly’s son, Ian, took over as President in 2016.
What We Do
The team at STCF are experts in their industry. Our Project Management team has an average of 23 years of experience each and our Fabrication team has an average of 15 years of experience. We are a fully certified business and adhere to all industry standards. We balance experience with the ability to listen, working in partnership with our customers, creating a superior finished product and providing dependable service with integrity.
